...she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Genesis 3:6 KJV
My prayer lately has been for the Most High to make me like my ancestral mothers Sarah, Ruth, Miriam (Mary, mother of the Messiah) and many more. What I mean is that I want Him to make me a righteous woman upright before the Most High, who loves and respects her husband and who is a blessing to him and not a curse, and who raises her children in the fear of the Most High's Laws, Statues and Commandments. In today's world I hear more and more women pushing a "feminist" view point into the world. I hear some women say that G-O-D is actually a woman, or that all of the "first gods" in humanity were women or feminine in energy and it's all blasphemous to me. I was watching a video online last night where a black woman was attacking a black man for his choice in the kind of women that he prefers to date.
She proceeded to say that the Black Woman 'birthed' the Black Man and therefore he is supposed to be protector of the Black woman and forever indebted to her. She also went on to say that he was 'effeminate' because of his choice(s) and also called him just about every racially disrespectful name that she could think of. Naturally, I was disgusted and appalled when I saw this video but I was also very confused.
Her claim that the Black Woman birthed the Black Man is completely erroneous and un-scriptural. Yes, women carry the womb and are capable of giving birth to a male child but lets not forget that Genesis 2:21-22 KJV tells us that Elohim put Adam into a deep sleep, and he took one of his ribs of his flesh....and the rib which the Most High had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. According to the scriptures, it was the man whom birthed the woman. Without the man, the woman wouldn't be. The way and order that the Most High set it up is that the man is the head of the woman. He is the intermediate if you will, between the Messiah and the woman. This is not to say that if the man is the head that automatically means that the woman is beneath him, useless and unintelligent. It is quite the opposite. The woman is not beneath the man at all, she is right beside him [hints, the rib?]. Him being the head doesn't automatically relegate me to the lowest possible position, nor does it make him a god or deity to be worshiped like the Father; it's just the order of structure that the Most High deemed to us.
The Father set the man to be the visionary, leader, prophet, priest and protector of his home. When the Father is dealing with your family, it is [via] the husband that He is expecting to implement and carry out His command(s); but this doesn't mean that woman does not have a role or significant assignment. If you read the scripture, you will see that women had a very key and powerful role when it came to the man. Being a woman is a very special and important role and not one to be taken lightly. My headline scripture is one that we are all very familiar with; Eve being beguiled by the serpent, taking a bite and then convincing Adam to take a bite. The command to not eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was directly given to Adam only from the Most High. He told Adam that long before the woman was even created. Once He created woman and brought her to Adam, it was then Adam's job to tell the woman what the commandment from Elohim for his family was, and for her to follow his lead.
Also notice that the when the serpent began to speak to them, he went to the woman. I believe that he knew that if he could deceive the woman, then he could ultimately deceive the man, (but not the other way around). Also notice, that when Eve bit the fruit...nothing happened. When she gave the fruit to Adam, she didn't notice that he (or herself) was naked even though she had already eaten of the fruit! It wasn't until Adam, the man ate of the fruit that they both began to see that they were naked and had been deceived! Once they sewed together fig leaves to cover themselves, they heard the voice of the Most High walking in the Garden with them and hid. The Most High called unto Adam! Not the woman! The command was given to Adam, but the woman influenced him to eat! The point I am making is that although the Man is the head, it is the Woman who holds the power to sway her husband's heart! It reminds me of Proverbs 21:1 KJV - The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Women have the same influence or power with the man as the Most High has with the kings in the verse above.
If you remember the commandment that the Most High gave to the Israelites about marrying strange (non-Israelite) women, His concern was because the strange woman would cause the heart of her husband to turn from the Most High (Deut. 7: 3-4 KJV). Our role as women is to make sure that we are keeping the hearts of our men turned to the Most High. We have the power and/or ability to cause a man to go either to the left or to the right. We can either cause him to fornicate or not to fornicate, to commit adultery or not to commit adultery. Not to say that men are just useless and incapable of making their own decisions, but we all know that when a man loves (or lusts after) a woman, there is nothing that he will not do for her. Men are to consecrate themselves and kill their flesh just as much as a woman should, but it makes a difference in any relationship when a woman is righteous versus unrighteous. A man who fears the Most High and is submitted to the Messiah as his head, is truly desirable, and should be the prayer for all women who desire to be married but we must evaluate ourselves to make sure that we are first submitted to the Most High before submitting to a man. When submitting to your husband, you are not submitting to his flesh or the things that makes him a man gender wise, you are submitting to the authority that the Father gave to the man as the head as well as the anointing upon him as a YAH fearing man; so ultimately you are submitting to the Father through the role of the man in your life. Godly women like Esther was able to pray to the Father and in turn cause her husband the King to not destroy her people, the Israelites. UnGodly women, like Jezebel completely ruled over her husband, the King Ahab and caused him and her to ultimately both be destroyed by the Most High.
A society without men is not something that I would like to be apart of, as I am sure that a society without women is something that men would not want to be apart of. We both have our own distinct roles and assignments given to us from the Father when he formed us from the hued dust of the Earth, and going against that or changing it can and will prove detrimental for our society, communities and ultimately our families. So women, recognize your power and be sure to submit your hearts to the Father so that when you are given a husband you will do him good and not harm all the days of your life which in turns pleases the Most High.
Shalom & Blessings,
