Follow Me as I Follow the Messiah

Be ye followers of me, even as I am of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV

The story in Acts chapter 19 verses 13-15 KJV speaks about the exorcists in the city of Ephesus that approached certain Judean (Jews) vagabonds that were filled with evil spirits to deliver them. The seven sons of Sceva, a Judean (Jew) and a chief priest also decided to try and deliver these men. The story goes, that when the men approached the vagabonds, the evil spirits began to speak out and asked, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?" Then the vagabond jumped on them and overcame them and caused them to flee naked and wounded.

The question is, why couldn't the men cast out the evil spirits like Paul had been doing? As Commandment Keepers who are filled with the Ruach Haqodesh or Holy Spirit, we are supposed to have power and authority or command, over all principalities to be able to command them to leave. YAHAWAHSHI or Yeshua the Messiah said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do." (John 14:12 KJV). For those of us who repents and accepts the Messiah into our lives, our lives should reflect or better word, replicate the life of the Messiah; even more so for the children of Israel! The Messiah dealt specifically with the the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel (Matthew 15:24 KJV) so that means that the descendants of the children of Israel scattered abroad today should be doing the exact same 'miracles' that the Messiah did and then some! But I don't see much of that happening today.

Of course there are a number of reasons why; Israel is scattered and has had crafty counsel taken against them to keep them from being a nation ever again (Psalm 83 KJV), and as a result a lot of us haven't yet awakened to knowledge of our true identity and heritage. There are also a lot of us who deny the true essence of the Ruach and it's power, and some deny it altogether. But, for those of us who do believe, we should be walking the Earth in the same power as the Messiah, performing the same 'miracles' as the Messiah. The Apostle Paul said in Corinthians to, "Be ye followers of me, even as I am of Christ." (1 Cor. 11:1 KJV).

As Israelites, we often have a tendency to seek out leaders or people to lead us and we rely heavily on them and their anointing to give us understanding, or lead the way. Although, the Most High has definitely put in place leaders, teachers, priests, prophets and pastors, it is still His desire for us to individually walk in power. We are to be exact replicas of the Messiah in our spiritual life; taking authority over the enemy and commanding him to flee. Of course this only comes by spending time with the Most High in prayer, fasting and reading His Word. The old scriptures about the Messiah (The Gospel of the Infancy of Christ) in the Lost Books of the Bible,

speaks of demons fleeing people at the mere presence of the baby Messiah and people being healed by his bath water and by the touch of his clothes, long before the woman with the issue of blood. There is no way that we should be walking around defeated by our enemies when we have the same power and ability bestowed upon us from the Most High to live a power pact life! It was His perfect will for us to replicate Him on the Earth since He left over 2,000 years ago!

I encourage all who reads this, Israelite and Gentile; all those who believe in and submit to the Most High and His Laws, Statues and Commandments and the Ruach Haqodesh (Holy Spirit) that the Messiah left for us, to spend time building and strengthening your spirit man to be able fight the enemy the same way as the Messiah did. This power isn't just for casting out devils, but also for speaking healing over your life, speaking the blessings of YAH over your life, commanding storms to cease as well as casting "mountains" or obstacles out of your way! Shaping your reality with your words just as the Most High did when He created all that there is! HueMan was created in His Image, so we are supposed to live the same kind of life that He did. We are to be like Him! Of course, this kind of power is only bestowed upon those who follow his Laws, Statutes and Commandments. You cannot eat any kind of way or live any kind of way and try to demand things to change. He only bestows His Spirit upon holy and righteous (obedient) vessels. So, I urge you to examine your life, clean up the areas that need tidying up and began exercising your power in the Ruach!
